This 1950s ink, gouache, and fabric swatch on paper is by San Francisco Gump’s custom fashion designer Frederick Gibson Bayh (1917-2007). Bayh was known for his timeless styling of high-end evening wear and outer wear for Gump's famous collection of oriental art treasures. Attached to this sketch is a swatch of the fabric he intended to use.
