Offered here for your consideration is a set of eight Georgian double-fiddle thread pattern silver dinner forks.
7 are by William Eley & William Fearn and 1 is by William Eley, William Fearn and William Chauner. 2 are hallmarked for 1799, 3 for 1798, 2 for 1803 and 1 for 1813. 5 have engraved crests and 1 has a monogram. 2 are unengraved and seem to have had monograms removed.
They are in overall, good, as-pictured used estate condition. The crests are overpolished and some of the hallmarks are somewhat rubbed. Otherwise, they have age appropriate light surface scratches and some visible wear to tines.
