The 20th-century tatting craftsmanship is astounding. The level of skill that this runner shows is mind-blowing. The center and the hem of the runner are created using the tatting technique with such precision that it is truly worthy of admiration; it has a geometric and scalloped design. It also has embroidered flowers on the outer corners of the solid part of the runner. It is more than likely linen (solid area) and cotton (thread).

Excellent condition overall. It does have a few very faint, very unnoticeable age stains on one side, but they do not affect the aesthetic or the usability of the item. Please refer to the last 2 pictures for flaw reference. The stains HAVE been zoomed in and highlighted and accentuated with lighting for the condition disclosure; however, they are faint as seen in the cover photo. See less
