Christina Keating's most provocative compositions are those that reveal a portion of a room, or a view of water through a section of window. This technique imbues the work with an eloquent mystery and transcends the images from ordinary and predictable to romantic adventures. Christina studied photography in Mexico City with Guillermo Aldana, photographer for National Geographic, and Nadine Markova, photographer for Vogue. When she returned to live in the US, she studied painting at the Art Student's League, the School of Visual Arts and Parsons School of Design. Upon moving to Boston, she continued her studies at the Museum of Fine Arts.
Many important collectors have acquired her work. She was commissioned by Children's Hospital, Boston to paint several paintings. She can also be found in the art collection of George Washington University, Washington, DC. See less
