Typical of her style; the scenes depicts a tree with long trailing branches, bereft of leaves, set against a fluid background in earth tones. Signed in the lower right corner. Set with a cream linen mat in an ornately carved wooden frame. Label in the back reads “C.W. Olson was born 1933 in Georgia. She was a self-taught painter until 1971 , when she returned to college to seriously study art. Her work deals primarily with the shapes, colors and feelings of trees and landscapes, interpreted in her own unique style.
