This set came from a 1927 Standard sink that had to be disposed of due to damage to the porcelain. All pieces look nice for the age, with relatively light pitting of the chrome, and the plumbing pieces are in good, usable condition. The sink has spent the past several decades in a barn, where the lack of moisture (and use) helped preserve the faucet pieces. Both of the porcelain caps are free of chips or cracks, and the graphics (H & C) look good. There is some wear to the faucet handles. The brass color is just coming through, but there is no pitting or peeling present. There are the somewhat typical tool marks on the hot water bonnet nut, and the other one is much better. The rest of the chrome is very good overall, with only light blemishes to be found. The faucet shafts are good overall, save for one where the threads were slightly cut into since the sink was cut away from them due to "stuck" nuts. Both are now fine, and the nuts move freely - and both cast iron retaining pieces are good. The faucets have not been recently tested with water, but there doesn't look to be any deterioration of the insides, and the movement feels right. The main reason these pieces are being offered is the style and condition of the waste tube. The chrome at the top shows only the slightest wear, and it has a nice mirror finish. The rest of it was cleaned up and was coated with clear enamel to help preserve it in the state it is now in. It is in good, usable condition with no damage or excessive wear. The piece that screws into it and the pipe are good overall, with no issues found. The flange for the drain hole has the most wear, with chipped chrome and a little corrosion. It functions as it should and screws into the elbow drain piece properly. What is included has been described, and pictures are included.
