The table features a 1 inch thick plank top and a small storage drawer in the frieze on one side. The table is sturdy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The fruitwood has a gorgeous warm, soft patina in a light honey tone. The wood has a desirable weathering and age giving the piece character. This style of table was the work horse of the French kitchen serving several tasks. Classic European skinny dimensions and profile in the farmhouse aesthetic.
