It has a rail running across the bottom. It would look great as a pediment over a door or window, decorating a mailbox or fireplace mantle, or hanging on the wall, etc. It measures about 19 1/4" x 3" x 1" deep. It has just a tiny bit of patina on it, as you would expect. It is in 3 dimensions (i.e., double sided), which is why it is so thick. It is a nice heavy piece of architectural history and in great physical condition. No chips, breaks, cracks or etc.

I sell all kinds of things in my shop but the last couple of years cast iron salvage pediments and related cast iron pieces have been one of my biggest sellers.
