Around the checkerboard, a light wood border and mahogany leaf veneer arranged in a butterfly pattern create a refined pattern that energizes the surface while respecting the classic elegance of the furniture.
The apron features two discreetly arranged side drawers, deep enough to accommodate small living room items while maintaining the harmony of the decor. Between the legs, a spacer shelf ensures stability and provides additional storage space. This shelf is surrounded by a finely chiseled openwork gallery that brings lightness and finesse to this side table.
The legs are sheathed, tapering towards the bottom, creating a simple and elegant silhouette. Each leg ends with brass caps that enhance the overall effect with a warm metallic touch and protect the edges of the wood. The joinery and purfling demonstrate precise and meticulous cabinetmaking.
