Fringe tassels are now docked to the end of the plainweave kilim, which is secured to the back of the carpet. The finish now shows as clean and modern with proper anchoring and securing with stitching and no glue. Unidirectional Damask inspired repeating floral design motif in simplistic outlines and great curvilinear relief arranged in staggered rows and columns bearing excellent contrast and contour throughout. Colors and shades include: Black, ivory, aubergine wine red, charcoal and more. Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Indian Damask design carpet made in India circa 1990's vintage.
