A French Expressionist portrait depicting an elderly woman in profile, draped in a dark shawl. Executed in charcoal on toned paper, the artist, identified by the block signature BROC at lower right. The red numeral “13” appears at right, possibly denoting a studio or catalog reference. Likely dating from the late 19th century, the drawing reflects both academic draftsmanship and Expressionist sensibility.
