Each doll is entirely handmade and painted with elegant black floral motifs; the serene faces are rendered with fine, expressive brushstrokes.

Dimensions largest & smallest: height 39 cm / 27 cm, diameter 12 cm / 8 cm.

All five pieces are signed by the artist on the base. The wood has developed a beautiful natural patina with warm amber tones, a soft sheen, and honest wear that reflect age and use.

An exceptionally rare find — early Kokeshi by a single master with identical decoration are seldom encountered as a complete set.
