This top features canted edges at the front, as do the uprights and legs, giving the whole piece a harmonious and structured silhouette. This chest of drawers has five drawers, including one drawer cleverly hidden in the lower plinth. Four of the drawers are fitted with functional locks, each with its own key. The finely crafted repoussé brass keyholes depict delicate leaf and ribbon motifs, adding a subtle decorative touch. The cherry veneer on the front of each drawer is arranged in an open book pattern, creating a natural symmetry of the grain and visual geometry. Each drawer is framed with moldings that elegantly emphasize the lines of the piece. Finally, the lower plinth is also molded, reinforcing the classic and neat character of this piece. This chest of drawers exudes a sense of balance and simplicity, combined with magnificent cherry wood tones.
