Small antique Persian Tabriz rug, very finely woven, with ornate floral design in burnt orange, Keivan Woven Arts / rug d-0531, country of origin / type: Iran / Tabriz, circa 1920
This spectacular Persian Tabriz bears magnificent splendor indicative of royal tastes, which sought perfection in balance and palette. The circular, script-style medallion displays various floral motifs and is complemented by four cornices in the central burnt orange field.
