Small antique Persian Tabriz rug, very finely woven, with ornate floral design in burnt orange, Keivan Woven Arts / rug d-0531, country of origin / type: Iran / Tabriz, circa 1920
This spectacular Persian Tabriz bears magnificent splendor indicative of royal tastes, which sought perfection in balance and palette. The circular, script-style medallion displays various floral motifs and is complemented by four cornices in the central burnt orange field. Colors include dark blue, burnt orange, salmon pink, light blue, cream, and green.
