Work entitled "Uomo-Domani" (Man-Tomorrow), a unique creation by Italian master Mario Salmaso (Venice 1941 - 1995), dating back to 1971.
Mario Salmaso was a student and assistant to two key figures of 20th-century Italy: maestro Virgilio Guidi and maestro Giuseppe Santomaso.
The work is an excellent example of post-war Italian art and the experimental technique of Polimateria (Mixed Media/Material). The layered, three-dimensional composition features three elliptical silhouettes that act as "windows" onto two worlds: an abstract urban landscape and an organic, tactile texture evoking nature. This contrasting material reflects the conceptual dialogue between human civilization and the future.
Condition: The work is in excellent vintage condition, consistent with its age of over 50 years.
There are slight, natural signs of aging on the gilded frame and protective surface.
The internal structure and the polymateria composition are intact and stable.
The authenticity of this piece is guaranteed by a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) issued by the artist's family. This piece has an attribution mark,
