A decorative Dutch Art Nouveau pedestal, exceptionally tall at 125 cm and beautifully sculptural in presence. Hand-carved wooden detailing and subtle copper accents, the piece has a distinctly architectural silhouette, somewhat reminscent of Wiener Werkstatte design. A striking appearance from every angle.
Elegant object with strong presence - both functional and artistic -An ideal pedestal for displaying a statue, sculpture or plant - but equally powerful as a standalone sculptural object in eclectic, wabi-sabi, or classic interiors.
Condition
