Over millions of years, mineral-rich groundwater slowly replaced the organic material of the ancient tree, preserving its structure in stone while capturing the timeless beauty of nature’s transformation.

The tabletop displays deep, smoky tones with delicate veining and subtle variations that reveal the tree’s original growth rings — a rare glimpse into prehistoric natural history.
Resting on a transparent acrylic glass base, the piece appears to float above the floor, creating a striking balance between the ancient and the modern, the solid and the ethereal.

Each piece from Xyleia Petrified Wood is carefully selected and shaped in our workshop in Indonesia, where the raw slabs are cut and polished to highlight their natural character. Final finishing and assembly take place by hand in Twello, the Netherlands.
