Magnificent late 19th-century French table lamp, made of mercury-gilt bronze and patinated bronze.
In the Napoleon III style, the piece features an elegant fluted column crowned by capitals with allegorical faces, and a base richly ornamented with scrolls, garlands, and acanthus leaves.
Originating from an antique candelabra, it was later adapted into an electric lamp.
