This is a superb antique gilt bronze and sienna mable sculpture of Reine Isabella, the Queen of Spain, by Eutrope … Read more This is a superb antique gilt bronze and sienna mable sculpture of Reine Isabella, the Queen of Spain, by Eutrope Bouret (1833 - 1906) , and circa 1870 in date. This exceptionally executed sculpture is in the formal form of a gilt bronze figure of the Queen dressed in full costume, holding a fan and a lette, stood beside a greyhound and raised on a shaped ormolu and Siena marble base. It is signed on the base and has a plaque on the front. This unusual piece is highly collectable and decorative. It is a true piece of artwork which is sure to get noticed wherever it is displayed.
