A fine and elegant George III giltwood and gesso wall mirror, in the Chippendale manor and dating from Circa 1780. This rectangular mirror elaborately carved with rocaille, c-scrolls and acanthus oval cartouche and foliate scroll cresting The gilding and mirror plate are both original. Provenance: Property from the Estate of Virginia Fortune Ryan Ogilvy, Dowager Countess of Airlie (Former Lady in Waiting to Queen Elizabeth II). It is certain to make a charming addition to that one special room in your home.
