A large, enameled Persil sign from 1951. In fully original and good condition. The sign has not undergone any restoration. The original enamel is applied to thick steel sheet. It depicts an advertisement for the world's first detergent (1907), Persil. The sign was made by the Koekelberg factory for the Belgian branch of Henkel Herent in Leuven. The Herent factory was founded in 1935 and no longer exists. The powder logo dates back to 1931 and existed in this form until 1955. After World War II, people waited for Persil's reappearance in stores. For many people, Persil was a symbol of normality and peace. The sign, through its beauty, originality, and large size, will adorn any room, adding a unique character and vintage atmosphere. Old enameled signs are eye-catching, create a unique atmosphere, and evoke history and tradition, especially in retro-inspired arrangements. The sign is signed. This piece has an attribution mark,
