This vibrantly painted oil captures the striking view of Windsor Castle in the background, with harvesting of wheat foreground. It is housed in its original beautiful gilt gallery frame decorated with acanthus leaves. The artist presents this tranquil scene with a very delicate palette of colours and has succeeded in adding great depth to the scenery.
