Chair No. 18 is one of the most famous chairs of the originally German firm Thonet, that later relocated to Vienna. Designed by Gebrüder Thonet in 1876. This No. 18 chair was produced by Josef Hoffmann, probably around 1900. Marked under the seat (only vaguely legible). In good condition. The seat has a new hand-woven rattan webbing. Dark brown. Beautiful patina. This piece has an attribution mark,
