It was designed by this post-war designer, commissioned by the Ministry to create emergency furniture for disaster victims. It is therefore unique in that it can be completely dismantled, like most furniture from this period.

Consisting of a double rectangular top in solid oak and a structure with four compass legs connected by a spacer, its style is both rustic and modern and can easily fit into both antique and more contemporary interiors.

Note its beautiful, luminous patina.
