nils kähler (1906-1979) was fourth generation of the family kähler. He and his brother herman jørgen kähler, who were in charge of kähler´s ceramic workshop from 1940, brought the artistic expressions of the ceramic production into the mid-century period.

the lamp has an amber yellow glaze over a raised dot decor. It´s contrasted by the neck which has a matte dark brown surface.

on bottom incised with the initials hak for herman a. Kähler and number 613-31 and stamped denmark.

included is a new lampshade designed and made in denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and is off white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards.
