The highly acclaimed architect Wiel Arets was responsible for this remarkable school building and designed the interior as well.
the chairs are marked twice, at the side of the seat with LRC Wiel Arets and underneath the seat with Lensvelt.
Very rare set, only 900 of these chairs were produced, which makes these chairs highly collectible.
These sculptural modernist chairs are made of polyurethane and painted in white. The striking line pattern is great.
The chairs are in good original condition. Some traces of use, like a tiny lacquer damage and a superficial tear in the middle of the front seat at one chair. Two chairs are slightly more yellowed than the other 3. This piece has an attribution mark,
