Set of 10 modernist candlesticks designed by Gunnar Ander. Their formal language remind the Swedish Grace style. Produced by Ystad-Metall, located in the town of Ystad in Sweden.
Candle-holders in solid brass. Organic design of stylised flowers and leaves attached to a curved stem and placed on a circular base. All are signed beneath "Ystad Metal" and a stylised "GA", the initials of Gunnar Ander.
Individual Sizes:
5 candle-holders for 1 candle: height 3.94" (10.5cm) / 2.36"x2.36" (6.5x6.5cm)
5 candle-holders for 2 candles: height 5.12" (13.5cm) / 3.54"x2.76" (9x7.5cm)
The brass is slightly patinated. This piece has an attribution mark,
