Offering a really special, majestically ornate 3-light French lighting fixture from around 1910 with signed, handmade art glass shades by Noverdy, one of France’s top producers from that era. Its original gold finish is in very good shape, as you can see from the photos (yes, there are some black spots and loss of the gold finish here and there).
The shades are gorgeous, especially when lit, with their rich orangy-yellow and purply-blue colors. Coupled with the gold patina on the (solid brass) metal, they make a sumptuous statement.
One of the shades is slightly different than the other two -- they’re not an original set of three. Would you have even guessed had I not mentioned this?! In other words, there’s so little difference between the single and the pair that no one’s ever going to notice.
This fixture’s been entirely rewired and fitted with three American candelabra sockets which can handle a maximum of 60 watts each, for a total of 180 watts of light.
This lighting fixture, in terms of its superb materials and craftsmanship, reminds us how antique French lighting stands head and shoulders above the rest.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
