Luxurious 3-piece modular Montauk "Jill" sofa in a dark brown cotton velvet.
Purchased in 2025 for $24,000 for a project for Frodahl Designs.
In excellent condition.
The sofa structure is made of a durable, kiln-dried hardwood maple frame reinforced at pressure points and an 8-way hand-tied spring system for support and comfort. The cushions are filled with a combination of down-feather and high-density foam. Montauk Sofa is the Rolls-Royce of the sofa world. The comfort and quality of this sofa is unparalleled.
The color tone of the velvet changes significantly in different lighting, especially in photographs. On an average day, the color tone is like the last photo of the two sofas in setting. If you want an accurate color reading, you might ask Montauk Sofa for a sample of their "como velvet".
