The back is adjustable in height and the casters roll freely; it is sturdy, heavy, and in good condition. The seat and back fabric has no stains and little wear. The foam padding is still pliable. I am not sure how to adjust the height; currently the height is for an adult of average height. The chair has a cartoon sticker on the base under the seat which I have not attempted to remove. It also has a plate designating it from the Department of Education in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. It was manufactured for, and used, in a school setting. A great chair in a desirable style and color. Could be used as an artist, architect, office, teaching, or crafting task chair. See less
