Description:
Up for sale is a unique vintage ruby and diamond 18K yellow gold ring.
This ring features a beautiful cabochon cut ruby with strong color and beautiful luster.
The deep color of the ruby stands out well from within the gold and the large size diamond halo.
As you can see, the ring was special made for the ruby and it is set with fine large round brilliant cut diamonds. The work resembles a floral design with the closed outer bezel style of setting.
The diamonds are unusually large for this style and create an impressive look.
The inside of the ring as well as the design on the sides features an "A" hallmark that should represented a designer's work.
The ring is well kept with light wear and light patina on the gold.
