The handles on the sides match the handle on the lid and the tureen is signed by the maker, Thomas Elsmore & Son, England, named "Parisian Granite" included near the Mark. Pieces from this period have natural imperfections and this piece has minor nicks on the sides of the handles but is in otherwise perfect condition throughout with no chips or cracks. Makes a fabulous serving piece with an antique flair and a unique design that is not found today. For the period this tureen is from it's in excellent mint antique condition. See less
