Vintage Persian Malayer Rug with Floral Pattern, rug , country of origin / type: Persian / Malayer, circa mid-20th Century.
This Persian Malayer from mid-20th century Iran features an all-over floral pattern in vivid colors of red, green and light blue set atop a central field of soft and pale yellow. The light blue border consists of flowers and vines. The low-pile wool feels nice to the touch and consists of natural vegetable dye.
