moreLife Cycles, as imperfect as it might be, as bumpy and rough as it might be, always end up as a complete whole. That's ceramic artist Yokky Wong's inspiration for the Cycles. Expressively textured and meaningfully shaped, each ring is unique and was inspired by a different life story. The height of the rim allows for creative shadow play and multiple holes have been pre-drilled for hanging in different orientations. #8 has a hairline crack that has been secured, further bringing up the intention of kintsugi, wabi-sabi, and the unexpected nature of life.
All of them are ready for wall mounting.
Cycle #8 is hand-spun from brick-red clay, and glazed with a white rim.
Dimensions:
13" x 12.5" (orientation can be changed with mounting) x 2.5" Height.

Yokky Wong
Master of Arts, Fine Art in The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Graphic Design and Studio Ceramics at the Hong Kong Polytechnic. She founded her pottery workshop in 1995 and devotes all her effort into the creation of ceramic works and teaching ceramics. She has held solo exhibitions and group shows in Hong Kong and overseas. Her works are collected by museums in Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, France, Taiwan."

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
