I snapped some photos, but none quite captured what I was looking for. On a return trip, I went searching for it again, and sure enough, it was still there. I found a path around the chain-link fence, set my bike down, and started photographing it from different angles. Out of nowhere, a Rottweiler barked loudly from behind the fence, breaking the silence—thankfully, the fence held. A moment later, the owner appeared and asked what I was up to. After I explained, he was friendly and even shared a bit about the old truck's history. See less
