A singularly masterful work of art, this richly patterned antique Turkish Oushak carpet balances a perfect blend of geometric design juxtaposed by a naturalistic impression of floral motifs. The striking color palette offers a similar effect through the use of complementary cool blue/grays and warm tones of brandy and mocha. A dual-layered stretched medallion takes center stage as step cornices contain the copper field. Flattering inner and outer guards work in unison with the center border through their hues and their display of repeating patterned floral motifs.
