Exceptional 19th‑century French animalier bronze depicting an Irish setter by Édouard Delabrierre (1829–1912). The dog stands alert on a textured naturalistic base, finely chased to capture fur, paws, and terrain. Signed E. DELABRIERRE on the front edge. The piece retains its period assembly hardware beneath (square nuts and washer) and a beautifully layered brown patina with subtle highlights from age and handling.

A substantial and authentic French bronze with presence, suitable for mantel, console, or library display. Classic of the animalier school’s commitment to vitality, accuracy, and lifelike modeling.
