The newer, professionally applied and layered blue painted finish is gently scraped and distressed, revealing the natural wood below while complimenting the age and curved lines of the chest. Contrasting black painted top is also distressed revealing the wood below.
This dresser has been restored, case is sturdy and drawers are in working order. Two brass pulls and key cover are on each of the drawers.
All scratches, cracks(top, sides, etc.), dings, and age related separation (in particular the drawer bottoms) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this large oak chest of four drawers. Built in two sections.
