Designed by sculptor/artist, BJ Keith for the C.Jeré line of Artisan House in 1982. It is one of her earlier pieces. BJ was Jerry Fel’s protogé at the Artisan House, a company he and his brother-in-law, Curtis Freiller founded to create high-quality metal art for the everyday buyer. The name of the line, C.Jeré was a blending of their names to represent many artists working at the company at the time. After Fels retired, BJ Keith became the head designer and art director of the company for over 30 years. She has done hundreds of designs for the C. Jeré line, her abstract works bringing the company acclaim for their fine art quality. Her designs for C.Jeré are still shown and sold internationally well into 2020, and she has several pieces in museums in Europe and Asia. See less
