Originally used fuel oil and has been electrified. The fuel canister is intact and twists out of the brass font. There's a switch at the bottom of the lighting section, and the cord has been attached through the section that rides up and down on the tall stand. Theoretically, the height of the light can be adjusted, but I have not attempted this. Lovely old patina on the brass. This is a very old light and shade, and has the wear and patina that would be expected. Please ask any questions and check the photos carefully. It is a heavy piece and will be carefully packaged.
