The set was made from Irish linen decorated with cotton embroidery made in Madeira, Portugal in the mid 20h century. The linen is a soft pink with blue, green, yellow and white hand embroidered flowers and bows. The edges are scalloped with hand embroidered white satin stitches. Dimensions are:
Placemats 14” by 10”
Napkins 12” square
Condition is excellent. The set is still stitched onto paper as was originally folded to fit into the box. See less
