Marked "Dansk Tapet" Very fine and intricate carving of flowers and leaves on a wood roller with brass base and topper. Marked pattern 628. Very detailed antique 19th c. Danish hardwood wallpaper print roller with brass pattern stamps. Originally hand-fabricated in varied designs for fabric and wallpaper. This roller has a very detailed design pattern and far more complex than most. The antique roller was mounted during the middle 20th century, most likely in the 1960s. The roller has a wonderful age-warmed rich patina. Dimmable switch. Perfect addition to your Danish Modern decor ora great gift for a decorator or artist. 36" high including harp, 7" wide. Very faint scratches to brass base and topper. Some rust to each edge of pattern roller portion of lamp. A few marks on pattern roller as expected for age. Very nice patina on brass parts. Lamp works but should be rewired as plug is from 1950's
