Restored set of six dining chairs by Thomas Havler, made in Denmark c. 1960s.
The frames, constructed from solid afromosia wood, feature high, sculpted arms. The design resembles Erik Kirkegaard's iconic "Compass" chair, with tapered legs in front and back imparting a sleeker, daintier look. The low backs preserve an unobstructed view across the dining space.
This set has been reupholstered in a natural buffalo leather from Edelman, with slate colored leather piping separating the arms and backs.
Comfortable, sturdy, and stylish, this set is ready for immediate use.
These chairs do not have an attribution mark. We acquired them as part of a verifiably 1960s dining set. This design is widely attributed to Thomas Havler.
