Early 50's Impressionist Landscape Original Water Color Painting by a Swedish school boy, signed.
Landscape of a Swedish castle on the grassy hills above a deep blue lake. An empty rowboat idles just offshore in front of the imposing fortress. Billowing clouds against the serene light blue summer sky belie potential future threats to this peaceful scene. The menacing ghost-like face constellation of windows reveals the artist's cheeky sense of humor, sending a little wink to the viewer. ; )
