A fine ancient stucco bust on a plinth.
In the form of the Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama.
Mounted on a black wooden plinth.
Retaining an old Stair Galleries auction label and collection stickers to the reverse.
Simply a wonderful miniature bust!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There is an epoxied cap to the interior of the bust that receives the plinth's post. There is also exfoliation to the plinth's finish.
The bust lacks an ear to one side and with some slight losses to the nose.
Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.

Depth: ca. 2 3/8 in.
