  • "The Estate of Things: I've already done all that. But thank you for your reply."

  • "Ray L.: I've included a highly recommended upholstery shaver for this : CONAIR FABRIC DEFUZZER on Amazon for $12.99 Let me know how that works for you and if it decreases the re-occurence of the fabric pills. If you have any further questions, I invite you to contact Chairish support. I alerted them to your message and disappointments. Many thanks, Betsy from The Estate of Things"

  • "Ray L.: Hi Ray. Thank you so much for getting in touch with this info. We need to know and appreciate you sharing. I'm so sorry to hear that you are having this experience with the upholstery. It's a huge bummer to have to shave your sofa daily."

    Oct. 5, 2017, 2:36 p.m.

  • "The Estate of Things: Hi. I purchased this sofa about 6 months ago and unfortunately I have to let you know the fabric is not holding up well. I'm having to shave the sofa weekly due to the amount of lint balls that accumulate. My home has no pets, no children, and is occupied by two adults who use the sofa about two hours a day, maximum. I feel the sofa should be able to withstand this type of use, especially 6-7 months after purchase. With all due respect, I am incredibly disappointed."

  • "Ray L.: Hi Ray. We should be able to arrange a local delivery for approximately $100. We'd love for you to purchase this lovely sofa! Let me know if you have any further questions."

  • "Could you provide Local Delivery on this item? My zip code is ... 91104 Very interested in the beautiful sofa. Please let me know if you have local delivery options. Thank you! ~ Ray"

  • "Keri S.: Hi Keri, if you purchase under free local pickup we can add shipping once you see it in person if it's agreeable. Just reach out to us at support@chairish.com for more information. Thanks!"

  • "Hi, I am local but I am thinking of this sofa for a project in the Seattle area. I would really like to see it in person before committing to it. To do that, do I have to buy it once so I can come see it, reject it and then buy it again so it can be shipped to Seattle? Or is there some other option? Thank you!"

  • "Whitney C.: Hi there! We don't allow our customers to preview items in advance of a sale as most of our listings are located in the seller’s home or warehouse. You can always choose the free local pickup option at checkout. If the item does not match your expectations at pickup just let us know and we'll consider it a return and issue a refund immediately. If you like it, you're all set and can take it away. Feel free to email us at support@chairish.com with any questions!"

    Nov. 2, 2016, 4:25 p.m.

  • "Whitney C.: Yes. It's fine with me if you would like to come see the sofa. But I believe that Chairish will require that you pay first, and then you can decide to refuse the item and you will be refunded in full."

    Nov. 2, 2016, 9:07 a.m.

  • "The Estate of Things: Ah got it. Great! It is in Pacific Palisades, correct? Is it possible to see the sofa?"

    Nov. 2, 2016, 9:02 a.m.

  • "Whitney C.: Hi Whitney. This sofa is available. It DID sell, but the buyer couldn't fit it through their door. So it made it back to us. We'd love to sell it to you. Let me know if you have any questions! Please do make sure you measure your doorways! <3 Betsy & Sarah | TEOT"

    Nov. 2, 2016, 8:31 a.m.

  • "Hi, is this sofa available still? I was reading through the q/a's and it sounds like it sold but I'm not sure. Thank you!"

    Nov. 2, 2016, 8:26 a.m.

  • "Marjorie W.: Hi Marjorie. This particular sofa actually sold, but if you would like to explore custom it is possible. Not sure if or how Chairish accommodates that process. Thanks for asking."

    Aug. 29, 2016, 7:53 a.m.

  • "I'm waiting on dimensions to see if this will fit, but are you able to make a smaller version of this sofa if not?"

    Aug. 25, 2016, 10:53 a.m.

  • "Georgia D.: Hi Georgia. If you select LOCAL PICKUP at the time of purchase, then you and I can make arrangements for a local delivery from Pacific Palisades where the sofa is located. I have a team that can bring it to you for approximately $100 fee. You will be responsible for paying them yourself at the time of delivery. They will be happy to bring it in for you and take the plastic cover away with them. Let us know what you think and many thanks, Betsy & Sarah | TEOT"

    July 4, 2016, 7:49 p.m.

  • "Mary C.: Hi there. The seat height is 17" at the front seam, but 18" with the crown. Thanks for asking, I will update the listing."

    June 25, 2016, 10:14 a.m.

  • "What is the seat height?"

    June 25, 2016, 10 a.m.

  • "Alison F.: Hi thanks for your question. I'd like to be clear that it is NOT. It was inspired by the lines of the George Smith Jules sofa, as well as George Sherlock, but also the clean modern lines of the RH collection. We worked with a furniture crafter in the Decorative Arts & Furniture district to make it. My best guess is that the Chairish platform filled in the maker as George Smith. I do not wish to mislead. Thanks for asking. <3"
