A refined mid-century modern folding magazine rack, attributed to Cees Braakman for Pastoe, circa 1955–1965.
Constructed of solid beech or oak with a warm teak finish, this elegant piece exemplifies the clean lines and functional beauty that define Dutch modernism. The design features an X-frame silhouette, gently tapered legs, and a central slatted panel with elongated cutouts—a signature detail echoing Pastoe’s celebrated storage systems of the period.
