RARE and absolutely lovely. In the old days, salesman traveled the roads from store to demonstrate and get orders for merchandise. For furniture or large items, the factory made a smaller model item, one able to fit in salesman's vehicle. Often, they came apart to save space. This bed would be made the same proportions as the real bed, but scaled down.
Given its size, it would also work well for as a doll bed for 24 inch doll. Posters could be draped with fine fabric. Would be great to display dolls as well. We used a light mallet to assemble tightly. There are no screws, just fitted joints. 30" high, 27" long, 17 1/4" wide. Excellent condition.
Item will be shipped disassembled.
