A striking mid-century table lamp featuring a sculptural ceramic body with deeply textured scrollwork, paired with a tapered solid-teak neck and base. The matte glaze is a warm ivory with rubbed gold highlights that emphasize the raised detailing.
This design reflects the Frederick Cooper aesthetic of the early 1960s, when Scandinavian-inspired wood forms were combined with Mediterranean motifs. The lamp retains its original brown Bakelite rotary switch embossed with an F, a hallmark of Cooper’s Chicago workshop period.
