Size: 20" x 20"
Matthew Izzo (b. 1971) currently lives in the Hudson Valley region of New York. He explores the process of art making through chance and random occurrences. Using a direct approach to his medium such as gestures and movement, he creates exuberantly colorful abstract paintings. Izzo draws his inspiration from landscapes of the Hudson Valley as well as travels from around the world. Here he uses bold, broad brush strokes and patterns. Izzo has been exhibiting his paintings in Galleries for over thirty years.
